Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users, and other necessary matters, in connection with the use of all services (the "Services") provided by Sowonweb.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users, and other necessary matters, in connection with the use of services such as website development, maintenance, marketing, and consulting provided by Sowonweb (the "Company").
Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.
- 1. "Services" means Sowonweb and related services that a "Member" can use regardless of the device used (including various wired and wireless devices such as PCs and mobile devices).
- 2. "Member" means a customer who accesses the Company's "Services," enters into a use agreement with the "Company" under these Terms, and uses the "Services" provided by the "Company."
- 3. "Non-member" means a person who uses the services provided by the "Company" without registering as a Member.
- 4. Terms not defined in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and service guides.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
1. The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the initial service screen so that Members can easily review them.
- 2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
- 3. When the Company amends these Terms, it shall specify the effective date and the reason for the amendment and notify Members on the initial service screen together with the current Terms, from 7 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date. However, in the case of an amendment unfavorable to Members, the Company shall give notice at least 30 days in advance.
- 4. If a Member does not agree to the amended Terms, the Company may not apply the amended Terms, and in this case, the Member may terminate the use agreement.
Article 4 (Conclusion of Use Agreement)
The use agreement is concluded when a person who wishes to become a Member (the "Applicant") agrees to these Terms, applies for membership, and the Company accepts such application.
- 1. In principle, the Company accepts applications for service use. However, the Company may refuse to accept, or may later terminate the use agreement for, applications falling under any of the following.
- 1. Where the Applicant has previously lost membership under these Terms
- 2. Where the Applicant uses a false name or another person's name
- 3. Where the Applicant provides false information or fails to provide the information requested by the Company
- 4. Where approval is impossible due to reasons attributable to the user, or the application violates other prescribed matters
- 2. The Company may withhold acceptance if there is insufficient service capacity or if there are technical or operational issues.
Article 5 (Obligation to Protect Personal Information)
The Company endeavors to protect Members' personal information in accordance with applicable laws such as the Information and Communications Network Act. The protection and use of personal information are governed by applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.
Article 6 (Obligation to Manage Member ID and Password)
1. The responsibility for managing a Member's ID and password lies with the Member, who shall not allow a third party to use them.
- 2. If a Member becomes aware that their ID or password has been stolen or is being used by a third party, they shall immediately notify the Company and follow the Company's instructions.
- 3. The Company is not liable for any disadvantage arising from a Member's failure to notify the Company of such facts under paragraph 2, or from the Member's failure to follow the Company's instructions even after notifying.
Article 7 (Obligations of Members)
Members shall not engage in the following acts.
- 1. Registering false information when applying or making changes
- 2. Misappropriating another person's information
- 3. Modifying information posted by the Company
- 4. Transmitting or posting information (such as computer programs) other than that prescribed by the Company
- 5. Infringing the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party
- 6. Defaming the Company or any third party or interfering with their business
- 7. Disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the Services
- 8. Using the Services for another person's commercial purposes without consent
Article 8 (Termination and Restriction of Use)
1. A Member may request termination of the use agreement at any time through the customer center or the My Info menu on the initial service screen, and the Company shall process it immediately in accordance with applicable laws.
- 2. If a Member terminates the agreement, all of the Member's data shall be destroyed immediately upon termination, except where the Company retains Member information in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy.
- 3. If a Member violates the obligations under these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Services, the Company may restrict the use of the Services in stages, such as by warning, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
1. The Company is exempt from liability for providing the Services where it is unable to provide the Services due to natural disasters or other force majeure.
- 2. The Company is not liable for any disruption in the use of the Services caused by reasons attributable to a Member.
- 3. The Company is not liable for the reliability or accuracy of information, materials, or facts posted by a Member in connection with the Services.
- 4. The Company is exempt from liability for transactions conducted between Members, or between a Member and a third party, through the Services.
- 5. The Company is not liable in connection with the use of services provided free of charge, unless otherwise specifically provided by applicable laws.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
1. Any lawsuit filed between the Company and a Member shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- 2. Any lawsuit concerning a dispute arising between the Company and a Member shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
These Terms are effective from 2026-03-31.
